1. Basic Policy
TokiRing ("the Service") is a community notification infrastructure operated by TokiStorage. We respect user privacy and minimize the information we collect.
2. Information We Collect
The Service collects different information from residents (notification recipients) and tenant administrators.
- Residents (push notification registration): Randomly generated anonymous ID, push notification subscription data (endpoint, encryption keys), registration date. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any personally identifiable information.
- Tenant administrators (organization registration): Organization name, representative's name (used for admin panel authentication). No email addresses or other personal information is collected. Payment information is managed by Stripe; we do not store card numbers or payment details.
- Inquiries: Content of emails sent to tokistorage1000@gmail.com. We do not operate a contact form.
3. Purpose of Use
- Delivering push notifications
- Admin panel authentication
- Responding to inquiries
- Statistical analysis for service improvement (in non-identifying form)
4. Data Storage
Push notification subscription data and delivery records are stored in a GitHub private repository (servers of GitHub, Inc., USA). Payment information is managed by Stripe, Inc.
5. Third-Party Disclosure
Collected information will not be provided to third parties except as required by law.
6. External Services
- Stripe: Used for Standard Plan payment processing. Stripe Privacy Policy
- Cloudflare Workers: Used for push notification subscription API.
- GitHub / GitHub Pages: Used for data storage and static file hosting.
- Google Fonts: Used for font loading.
7. Cookies and Local Storage
This Service does not use cookies. Anonymous IDs and session data are stored using browser local storage, which remains on the device only.
